Accessibility

Reviewed: August 2026

House of Worth Estate Ledger is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.

Our Commitment

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We do not claim the site currently conforms to that standard. It is a target we are working toward, and this page describes honestly where we are.

What We Have Done

Tested the application against WCAG 2.1 Level AA using automated accessibility tools.

Corrected colour contrast on text, buttons, and navigation labels.

Made cards and controls reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.

Added text alternatives for images that convey information.

Associated form labels with their fields so screen readers announce them correctly.

Where We Know We Fall Short

Photographs and documents you upload. You supply these, and we cannot describe them. A screen reader will announce an item’s name, but not what its photograph shows.

We have not had an independent audit by an accessibility specialist. Our testing so far is automated, which detects only part of what WCAG covers.

We have not completed screen reader testing across every screen.

Tell Us If Something Does Not Work

If any part of House of Worth is difficult or impossible for you to use, email hello@houseofworthestateledger.com. We will respond within five business days.

Please tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and what assistive technology you use, if any. Responding within five business days is a commitment to reply — not a commitment to fix the issue in that time. We will tell you what we can do and when.

Keeping This Current

We will update this page as we make improvements. The date above reflects the last time it was reviewed against the live site.
